Learners will also develop essential academic and research skills and to be able to formally present academic research findings, written and orally.
Introduction to Digital Technologies
This units aims to provide an overview of the range of digital technologies available across different business sectors and environments. Learners will investigate the different areas and develop knowledge and understanding about the importance of digital technologies in today’s world.
Introduction to cyber security
This unit aims to provide an overview of cyber security and the importance of keeping yourself and systems safe when online. Learners will develop an understanding of the basics of security and the appropriate measures to take to reduce security risks.
Working in Teams
This unit will provide provide an overview of key aspects of working with other people. Learners will gain knowledge and understanding of teams and team roles. There is also an opportunity for learners to develop their own employability skills.
Leadership and Management
The aim of this unit is to enable the learner to understand the role of leadership and management in organisations; and the use of leadership and management skills to improve organisational performance.
Management Information Systems
The aim of this course is to allow learners to investigate different management information systems and evaluate the common features. They will analyse an existing information system in use by an organisation, review records, observe performance and understand the legal and organisational requirements that apply to an information system.
Customer Relationship Management
The aim of this course is for learners to gain comprehensive knowledge of the scope and importance of Customer Relationship Management. They will explore key concepts, strategies, and tools for effective customer relationship management, including customer lifecycle management and data-driven decision-making, to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Entrepreneurship
The aim of this course is to provide the learner with an understanding of entrepreneurship in business, the skills and qualities needed by a successful entrepreneur and the roles an entrepreneur plays in starting and developing businesses. The learner will develop skills in generating ideas for possible new business ventures and will be able to prepare for a new business venture.
Managing a Work Based Team Project
This unit aims to develop project management skills for a work-based team project by implementing the different stages of project development, implementation and review.

The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the seven elements of the marketing mix and how they relate to one another, including how digital and social media marketing relate to each element.
Communication Skills for Business
This unit aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the communication practices within organisations and learners are introduced to the different modes and channels of communication used in organisations. In addition, learners will be able to develop their communication skills. Learners will also apply their own communication skills to typical organisational requirements.
